STRANGE MEAT!!!

I'm white and live in Texas...'nuff said. 

You know white people with redneck relatives will eat anything that doesn't eat them first.

baaaahhhhhwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..................(that's been my observation too taw!!!)

As a child chitlins' but not since then ... no other strange meat unless it was fed to me and I was lied to! 

as a child i was forced to eat them...and hated them...

as an adult i've eaten them...and hate them......(i don't see how folks eat them...honestly i don't...)

So what was the best meat?? The worst???

i think ostrich was the best...

the worst?  i'd have to say squirrel...if it's not prepared properly...

I grew up in the BOONIES....and my Grandparents had a farm and near the water...we slaughtered cows and pigs every year and my Grandfather also "obtained" squirrel, rabbit, deer, turtle, frog legs, fish, crabs...Basically if it was local habitat to the area and we could trap it, shoot it, catch it...IT WAS DINNER

Umm I will say this one thing...if you have EVER had to clean (that's right squeeze the POO POO out), strip the membrane off, and soak pig intestines like I did...YOU WILL NOT WANT TO EAT THEM   However, the "grown folks" said I didn't know what I was missin...uhh how about NO THANK YOU

To this day I will not eat most of the food I grew up on but I can throw down in the kitchen These hips and azz didn't come from no fast food...that's home cookin right der

i grew up on a farm in the boonies too sexy yaya...and you're right...if folks saw what i saw with "chitterlings" they wouldn't eat them either......(out of all the "strange" stuff i've eaten...it's the only one on my list...that i wouldn't eat again...lol)

I have had buffalo, frog legs, possum, alligator meat.

I hear ostrich is good, just haven't had the chance to try it.

ostrich can be kinda expensive michelle...but you're gonna have to eat some!!!
