Six Degrees of Separation

Hello BAF family.

We had a conversation last night in chat about the Six Degrees of Separation (especially among black folks).  Since I have been on the board, I have found 3 people that I know in common with people from the board.  All 3 of them are in different states.
So has anyone else had these coincidences??

I don't really know anybody except the ones I have met at local get togethers.  I'm not sure if thats because I'm hard to get to know or because I used to move around alot for work.

So far, these are the "people in common" that I have encountered.

*Mrs C.C. and I know one person in common (I went to high school with her)
*I went to college with one of Ashley's high school teachers
*I went to college with a local politician in Nikki's city

Oh and by the way...if anyone has any connections to Rosie Perez, please contact Hero XXL, LOL

Telaya! Just wanted to say hi and how is the workout going?

Six degrees of separation...yep, got a couple for you:

There are a couple of folk here who have family members who are members of my church.  In addition, there is one person here who began posting a few weeks ago (from Chicago); I posted something about my girlfriend, Angie...got a reply on the post from a person who mentioned they were also a member of Trinity - I inquired about her gubment name...and lo and behold - we knew one another and had talked on the phone re church matters several times!

And finally, thanks to BAF, I re-connected with a high school friend I had not talked to in well over 30+ years!!!

That hasn't happened to me yet Telaya but I've connected with a few friends on Facebook that know some people that I went to high school with and I went to college with in 2 different towns and they didn't go to college near the same time.

yeah Tel that was crazy how you and my HS teach went to school together....

and I found out that sugasharie lives in the town 5 min from me but we dont really know each other just yet

Yeah Ashley we need to exchange numbers so we can do the texting thing and even meet to work out together..
