I'm home!
Hello everyone! I'm home. I was scheduled for 11:30 a.m., but didn't get in until 2:30 p.m.The surgery was fine just had a lot of nausea due to my blood pressure being up and it made me feel yucky! After we figured that out, Demerol became my best friend. After being discharged today, I went straight to my primary doctor's office for him to adjust my meds. I waited for 3 hours just to see the nurse practitioner (I wanted to see my doctor!) who gave me a new bp medicine that I've never heard of. I have decided to wait until the surgeon gets back to his office before I pick it up because I really don't think she understands that gastric bypass patients can't take certain meds.
