Oprah today....

For those of you who are able to watch Oprah today, my twin cousins will be on Oprah today and tomorrow along with 14 other teenagers.  The show is about teenage obesity and the trials and tribulations they face about their weight.  I will miss it but will have to stay up late tonight to catch it.  (especially since I don't have Tivo)

Although I wasn't an overweight kid, I am sure some of us can relate to these kids.

I was a big baby,  a chubby kid, a fat-assed teeanger, and a morbidly obese man.  Yeah, that pretty much covers the entire gamut.

I am watching it and it is very depressing.... I feel so bad for these children... I wonder how many of them are children of WLS parents

Hey Ro, my mother called me and said she is watching it and crying too....it is only three black girls on there and two of them are my cousins.  they are 13....

It coming on right now in Cali, and I am home recovering from surgery so I am watching right now!

I watched it. Heart wrenching! 

I record Oprah everyday and just finish watching the show. I like you wasn't a overweight kid and my heart just broke listening to their different stories... Tomorrow they will be doing a part II.

Sad just sad...

I saw the preview - to be honest - I can'****ch.  So much of that was my life when I was a kid - I am happily leaving it under the rock I put after WLS........

 I recorded it and am watching it now. It's so sad. I think teenagers today have so much crap to deal with, and to add a weight problem to it is just too much. 

This Josh kid is breaking my heart.
