Sunday Dinner - I am excited today yall!!!!

LOL - yea - my inner fat girl is clapping her hands and giggling!  I am going to make an eggplant parm casserole thingee today...... and i am stocking up on stuff for my new approach.  Got great ideas for new snacks that I want to try out - I have a theory that the protein bars I keep sucking down are causing issue. 

Anyway - I'm doing the casserole and a side veggie, prob mixed veggies.  I will be buying some chicken but will do that later this week in a stirfry.  Other than that - I'm about to CHILL today.

How about you???????

Hey MM I asked my nut about protein bars, and she forbid me to eat them, she said they cause weight gain. What kind of issues are you having, that makes you think protein bars is the culprit?



oh yea BTW I'm having baked chicken and mashed pototatoes with mixed veggies

Hey lady!  I am looking to disengage from the bars cause I eat them CONSTANTLY..... even though I fit them into my calorie count - I think they are just ****** with me!  LOL.  The ones I eat taste like candy bars and even though they are great - it CANNOT be a good thing to suck down two a day!!!  LOL.  I double checked the carbs and all - but I think it may be triggering some weirdness in my body given the amount and frequency I am chompin them things down......

I haven't gained weight recently (as in the last 2-3 weeks) but with my upgraded eating accountability and gym time - I haven't lost a damn thing either.  I think the bars may be stalling me.

I love anything parm lol...sounds good.


I was gonna make meatloaf maybe one day this week!  I'm gonna make a pork Tenderloin with some type of marinade for myself.. and shred it over some lettuce!!


For the family: A salad but with steak and hard boiled eggs...which will be my lunch tomorrow!!!!

We're having chicken parm tonight. Mine and his is cooked differently.

Mine:
4 oz chicken breasts, dusted w a  lil flour, then egg, then a parmesan cheese,tyme, oregano, parsley mix, then pan fried, covered in sauce, cooked in the oven, lastly covered in mozz cheese and back in the oven

His:
4 oz chicken breats, dipped in flour, egg, then breadcrumb, lil cheese, thyme, oregano mix, then cooked the same way but only sprinkled with mozz cheese. Of course his is also served with pasta.

Side salads and I'm done!

We are having LadyJwb famous Short Ribs w/ barbeque sauce that have been cooking in the crockpot since 9'oclock last night. Man this house smell good!!I am about to run to the store to select the sides STILL undecided.

  Famous (ahhhh i got the recipe off a crock pot recipe site..lol ) but my hubby took 2 out the pot already  "GREEDY JERK"  .

My FIL is coming over today so  we  will be having Ribs that have been in the crock pot all night and still on low baby , cabbage , butter nut squash, corn muffins and a small batch of potatoe salad (FIL's favorite) and can corn for the little one! 

MM- What new healty snack do you have in mind becuase the 9 almonds that I eat threw out the day is getting old .

LOL- I am mad at you mofos for these damn ribs!!!!  Got me ALL salivating over here!!!!

As for my snacks - I have the following choices I will be rotating for a while:

1 - smoked provolone cheese and saltine crackers
2 - low fat yogurt w/protein powder, chopped walnuts
3 - cottage cheese, raisins w/splenda and almond extract for taste
4 - veggie chips w/hummus for dip
