Aiight Lesia - I got something fo yo AZZ!!!! Bring it!!!!
Well - a homie on here (sorry, can't remember exactly who - but a lady on here) hit me on the backline with a book about weight training for women. ETA: the book is called "The New Rules of Lifting for Women: Lift Like a Man, Look Like a Goddess" It's got a 6 month program with workout routines and certain exercises that are to be done in phases. It's also got a meal planning and diet section which I read and have made my own approach to. The eating approach they go through is a lot like the Wagon 1.0 (lol) with the BMR calculations, calorie count and all - I am not going to focus on calories - I will keep my carbs under 100g for each day and will focus on protein in.
Anyhoo - I did my first workout today - WOW!!! It's only 5 exercises, 2 sets of 15 reps each in this phase and it was a monster!!!! I was really suprised to be feeling tired the way I am at the end of it. I am going to adjust my weights for a couple of them - but it has some stuff I REALLY like and wanted to get into. This program requires a minimum of 2 and no more than 3 workouts per week - so it's a match to the time I already commit. PLUS - these exercises can easily be done in a crowded gym - I don't ever need two machines at the same time (mofos be hoppin on my **** too quick right now) so it's TOTALLY do-able. I will post each week on my progress since this isn't a daily thing - but I charted out my first 8 weeks of workouts using the plan and exercises in the book. We will see how this goes!!!!

Do you mind sharing the book title? I am working out and I do see the difference and I have since started to gain muscle. I have been depriving myself of carbs and I would like to eat more. However, I don't want to gain anything other than muscle right now and hopefully I will break the cycle real soon and start back losing the weight again.
