Have you made chili in your crock pot?

I have tried chicken, oxtails, stew meat chunks, and short rids.  They have never turned out mouthwatering tender & delicious to me.  I may be adding to much liquid (water/broth).  The end product usually is very watering looking.  I usuallu add potatoes and onions to dish.  Doesn't seem to help.  Maybe I can only cook in the oven or on the stove top.

Next time I will try making dish with little or no liquid and see how it turns out.  I have never made chili in the crock pot, unless you mean opening a can of beans and adding ground meat.  If so, then yes.   But that's not how my momma used to make chili.

Thanks for the recipe websites, I will check them out.
