(1) When I was 18 I lost 335 lbs. in less than 12 months eating like GOD showed me (I maintained that weight 180 lbs for over 10 years, now I want to get back to that under 180 lb person that I loved;present wt 350 lbs).
(2) I'm an attorney but dropped out of high school at 16 yrs. old (licensed in 3 jurisdictions; the main reason I'm proud of this is because I was given up for dead weighing over 500 lbs as a teen and a high school drop out, then GOD brought me up out of the ashes like a Phoenix...)
(3) I'm a lesbian and have been happily Partnered for over 5 years (We moved to Buffalo for her to complete her Ph.D and for me to take some time off to get my wt and health together.)

1. I am currently engaged to someone that I have known my entire life, we graduated together, I even beat him up in 6th grade because he would always irritate me. I cannot choose a wedding date. I can't decide if I want a huge wedding(he does) or just a few family and friends or maybe even run away to get married. The two dates so far are Feb 5th and September 19th, 09.
.2. I have a BA in Business Administration, a few hours towards my Masters, not sure when I will finish that one. I am an events coordinator. I have worked for the Government for 18 years, Training Instructor, Management Project Analyst. I have worked as a radio personality, DJ., it was really fun and exciting.
3. I am a very sincere person, probably too caring I always come up short trying to help someone else. I don't like to hurt people, but will bite if provoked. I am very sensitive, I guess that plays a part in why I am very reserved when on the boards. I am totally different in person, then what you see(shy, boring) or in this case cannot see.
When you devote yourself to achieving your goal, you will not be bothered by shallow criticism.

)......too many girls wanted to be with him, back then, I would have only been a notch on his belt. He went away to the Navy, married and I got married to an Army man, Now that we are both single, we met at our reunion last year and have been together since.

I have been with the same employer for 11.5 years, and just within the last year and a half landed a position in my degree area (BA in Psychology). I started on my Masters in Criminal Justice, but didn't finish due to my father becoming severely ill and then later passing on. I'd like to finish but not sure I can justify the expense right now. If I do complete my Masters I may switch back to psych as my work now has reawakened my interest.
I once lost 110 pounds on my own before I ever even heard of WLS. How's that for irony. Ha.
