New Post-op Tip of The Day
I know this is really late but I'm having vehicle issues and just got on the computer a few minutes ago. Well anyway, this tip was sent to me by a veteran and I'm glad she did because I had forgotten about this one.
When taking vitamins, space out your calcium and iron at least 2 hours apart because they cancel out each other and won't absorb.
I usually take some vitamins in the morning, noon and bedtime. Dalexius gave some advice a few weeks ago about keeping a set of vitamins at work and at home so that you won't forget to take them. I really like that idea.
You can only absorb about 600 grams of calcium citrate at a time so that should be taken spaced out throughout the day.
Remember that vitamins for a wls patient are a lifetime committment and can save your life.

Great tip!
This is what I use to remember to take my vitamins with me. I fill it up for the week and throw one in my purse every morning.
