Is WLS Putting Lane Bryant out of Business

   MM girl you said a mouth full but it's the truth.

I STILL shop there. Sad to say. They have a monopoly in Fort Myers. There are 2 Lane Bryants and a lane bryant outlet all within a 10 mile radius. And yest they are expensive, I guess thats why they are in so much debt, some genious thought to raise the price of Right Fit jeans from $39.50 to $44.50, and the cheapest shirt is now $29.50 and thats for a foiled tshirt (which I am totally against, ie. Baby Phat). But I have no other options. Again, all Macy's has for the young and hip is Baby Phat, and the foiling is a Big Girl NO NO, yet every event, club night, comedy show I attend, there is always one Sistah with all that shiny stuff on hugging her in all the wrong places and spilling all out of it.....Can someone open a Old Navy or Charlotte Russe for those of us who havent made it out of our size 14s!

Don't you know that Old Navy removed all of the plus sized clothing from the store.  It's internet only.  In NY anyway but I thing it's all of them.

I have been doing alot of my shopping at Dilliards since they were actually cheaper than Lane Bryant.  Every now and then I can find something at Macys for a reduced price.  There is a Old Navy around the corner from where I live and I can't wait to be able to shop there.

girl i feel you...im bout to be busting my butt so i can make it into charlotte rusee!! I cant wait...the day i can fit into clothes there i am gonna max out every form of money i have lol

lol...i wanted to be like hell yea...but then i thought about when i was in the office erry day for the past ten years....Layne bryant was my shiot...its the perfect store for a big girl on a budget while working in the office or just every day casual wear...and we all know every big girl needs an affordable place to shop and get good quality clothes. So i'm sadden that they're not doing well...but thankful that i don't have to shop there any longer(i still peep in time to time cause the store's here have regular sizes too...i also creep over to the fat side to remind my self where i've come from)

I hear ya Ms Cleo.  They made clothes for plus size women fashionable instead of the basic striped shirts with elastic pants but they were killing me with the prices.

Really? i've always thought of them as being reasonable.....i can remember prior to becoming overweight it seems that my clothes were actually more....but of course i had more options....which is what i love now...i no longer have to shop at layne bryant, i can shop anywhere...i love that.

Girl I'm on a budget and they have those basic shirts for almost $30.  They kill me but again I'm cheap as hell...lol

girl my ass is on a budget too...lol and have been for the last 20 years......but look i buy everything out of season...i never buy summer clothes in the summer or winter in the winter...you feel me...i always shop a season ahead purchasing things during close out and end of season sales....
