I got banded on Monday!!!
Glad all went well. The key to the lap-band is walk, walk walk. It will help the soreness go away. Also, I had very good results with my band early on because I exercised so when you get the chance (after 2-3 weeks) start doing some aerobic walking then add to it as the weeks go on.
