Skin Discoloration

I have some skin discoloration and wondered if this was normal for WLS patients. Parts of my skin are darker in some places and really light in others.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have this but had it way before WLS...mine are called Brach's freckles and occured at puberty. It is caused by a sudden influx of hormones that bind with skin receptors...theoretically this could happen with rapid weight loss due to the fact that estrogen is stored in fat and the sudden increase in a loss of fat causes free flowing estrogen in the body....
