You are talking to the QUEEN right now. The queen of not getting to goal. Sometimes I feel so down about it. But then I pick myself up and realize that I am not where used to be and I am not giving up so the fight is not over. I am 2 years out from my first surgery and almost a year out from my second surgery and goal for me means Getting Over Another Level and keep it moving. Your level is your first year anniversary. That is just another level and you are going higher. So pick up your boot straps and relish in the fact that 100 of those things is off of your body and you are beautiful. Its not over....Not by a long shot.
Happy early surgiversary.

I don't know if this has been said already, but what you are going thru is part of what some may call the "mind fukk" of WLS. For my part, I'm over two years out and still look at myself sometimes as "the fat kid" or "the fat man". Mind you, I started at 346 and am now hovering around 216, but still have to TELL myself I'm not at my HIGHEST weight (380 plus).
You, lady, have accomplished much. Congratulate youself and realize that you haven't failed anything. Here's the beautiful part, though and it may sound like a cliche: the best is yet to come.
"When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer." Plutach. Not true, for there are always more worlds to conquer.
