Excess Skin
I am no surgeon but this is what I have learned in the past 2 1/2 years.
You will have some excess skin, it all depends on a number of things...genetics, age, how much you exercise, water intake, food intake. You can be a person that works out everyday and eat the right foods and drink properly...and you can have alot of excess skin or no excess skin at all.
Me personally...my arms are terrible...I had HUGE arms and no matter what I do, the skin is not going anywhere, I WILL NEED surgery.

Only look back in life to know where you DON'T want to go
I have excess skin on my arms and just a little bit on my stomach which i'm hoping my crunches will take away. As far as the arms.. I'm scared I won't be able to solve this problem by the summer time.. I'm dying to some tank tops outside this summer and not only around the house. Good Luck on your surgery!!

More often than not if you have rather large body parts that are not already toned prior to surgery unfortuneately that skin can only deflate due to it's stretched condition. It's not possible to tone up skin which was not toned up beforehand. My thighs and tummy are my saggy spots and lawd knows I stay on the thigh trainer. I've given up on the tummy and the crunches so now at nearly 6yrs out, I'm going in for a tt. My arms however were toned even as a big girl so I have no trouble there.
I agree with Luvs....genetics and age are MAJOR factors. Also, how long have you been overweight.
I was blessed with some good skin. I'm early out (down around 50lbs) and my skin has popped right back. Several years ago when I lost close to 100lbs, the skin popped back.
I will admit to working out like a maniac (back then as well)....maybe exercise helps.

Areas that have stretch marks are also extremely difficult because the skin has already been stressed and stretched past its limits. My arms are in trouble!
