Barbara Walters Makes a shaky comment about Afro Americans

Perfect wording. Backhanded Compliment. And thats what I felt like it was......

   Interesting comments... I better not say anything lest I be called the "Angry Black Woman", again.    

Too bad I missed the View today. 

She means well...but as you said, scratch the surface,and the truth will come out.
I only watch the show because of Whoopi,Sherry is a sweetie too.
I think many will get a better view of who we are now.Who broke up and scattered our families in the first place?

Well, Barbara should know 1st hand that not ALL black men leave their families because she was the mistress of a black man for years who NEVER left his wife for her....lol....

Well, he may not have PERMANENTLY left his wife...but oh yes, my friend...he 'LEFT' his wife for her - had an affair with Barbara Walters for YEARS...left the marriage, left the marital bed...left the wife...just didn't STAY GONE!

HA! You know this is old news, about black men not working, hustling women, getting women pregnant and don't give a damn about their offspring and yada yada yada...but interestingly enough you can't keep white women JUST LIKE HER from black men... who seems to be contributing to the destruction of the BLACK FAMILY ( she admitted to having an affair with a MARRIED black man)....  

Apparently she have not been in the AVERAGE black American home, with a black man married to a black women who are taking care and raising their kids. I think there is this stereotype from looking at all those rap videos of thugs drug addicts, criminals black on black crime, pimps and hustlers falsely portraying what black life IS NOT.

True enough *SOME* black men are not responsible and don't take care of their kids, but there are a whole lot of white men have to be taken to court for child support too...just saying....brothas are not the only ones that are trifling..LOL.

I think you have criminals, thugs and hustlers in EVERY RACE, not sure why some white people think all black people are ghetto...you have white ghetto too...better known as trailer trash.

I am glad the Sista checked her.  That is just proof that some things really don't change, she grew up in a time where these statements are a part of her conditioning and one has to be very intentional about making a CHANGE! Clearly, she is still under construction.
