I'm glad you went too!  I am close enough to have carried my lazy butt down there...  I probably should have.  Bu****ching on TV, all I kept saying was, "LOOK AT ALL THOSE PEOPLE!"  It was beautiful! 

And I heard last night that there was NOT ONE ARREST!  A million plus people and nobody acted a fool?  It's a new day ya'll!

wellllll, there was almost one guy who acted an azz that i know of.  Going home after a great day.  The metro was packed to the gill and oh course, majority of the folks were black.  Two white guys squeezed on the train, and one of them say, my God, what in the world is going on, was there a fire work show or what?  I said are you serious,  stupid or just need a lesson on what today is, this black lady looked at me and shook her head as to say dont entertain him,  at the same time the other white guy looked at him like, have you lost your mind...I told the black lady, you are so right, thank you for bringing me back to reality.

That was awesome that you got to be there!  I wanted to go but I let my excuses get the best of me.  It just looked like everyone that was on the streets to see everything were so excited.  When they got out to walk you could just see that the people were in sheer awe.  I love seeing them running to get a look, it was so incredible.  I wish I had been there.  Good (no great!) for you!
