It's 9:15 and I've already cried twice today.  The sheer impact of today's history-changing moment has me all non-Tonya and crying tears of joy.

My son thought I was crazy this morning when I got all choked up discussing today and putting his Obama t-shirt on him to wear to school.  Then on the way to work the radio had me crying.

I've prayed, campaigned, voted and dreamed of this day and it's finally here.  I can't wait for the changes this election, inaguration and presidency will bring not only to America but to the world.  Tommorow we will wake up to a different America!!!!

I'm with you taw!!!  Im very emotional today.  I cried when they first showed the Obama's going into the church, coming out of the church and meeting with the Bush's.  I cried looking at the millions of people that are gathered there.  Although I would love to be there, I'm  happy being at home in front of my big screen watching it!!  I was watching NBC and Tom Brokow (sp) got all choked up talking about what our ancestor's have been through.  It's very touching to see how everyone is affected by this.  And as a side note to this reply: I've read on other boards some negative comments about Obama.  All I can say is this:  He is the President of the United States, whether you voted for him or not.........

Our history has been very ugly and for me this is a major step to reconciling, reaffirming and recognizing what it means to be a truly American.

Today 233 years later, Thomas Jefferson's words are FINALLY ringing true... We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..."

The promises of Lincoln and the dreams of Dr. King are finally ringing true...and while I don't think it will be an immediate change I do have renewed faith that America is getting better.

I cried last night and I know I will cry when he takes the oath. It will be a very EMOTIONAL day for me.

The more I watch, the more I am. I know I will be blubbering soon. I couldn't stop when the returns came in.
