I Still Get Chills Everytime I Hear "I Have A Dream"

MLK Jr. was one of the greatest orators of all times. Every time I hear "I Have A Dream" speech and "The Mountaintop..." speech, the one he did the night before he was assassinated it gives me chills. I just can't imagine having that kind of intelligence, talent and self-control.

Pres. Elect Barack Obama is also a great orator and has many of these characteristics. I am praying for the Obama family as they take on a heavy burden tomorrow. I pray that Barack gives those burdens to the Lord because He said..."my burden is easy and my yoke is light."

I have 2 favorite MLK speeches.

The first one is the one where he encourage everyone to be the best at whatever they do even if it means being a street sweeper.

The other one is when he speaks of what is in store for those who were oppressors. At the end of the speech he says "Press on chillun cause there's a great camp meeting in the promised land" or something to that effect.

Praying for the Obamas and all involved in this wonderful transition.

When you hear it do you ever feel like your not doing enough? That is the feeling I get sometimes...like i'm not doing enough and should be doing more....
