Now as far as the scared thing...What exactly are you afraid of? I'm saying you had to cut a whole lotta red tape in order to get this date.. time for the pay-off...be happy and thankful.. because you are about to embark on a whole new way of life!  

No red tape. i am a self pay and going to mexico...I had to do a 10 day liquid diet  and now the time is here

Hey...I cannot tell you not to be scared because the morning of surgery when I said by to my family, I thought it was the last time I would see them...The next 3 weeks I was concerned about phenmonia and blod clots...And now blah, blah, blah...

This journey is somewhat scary but very excting..There is so much to look forward to...I am just about 40 lbs down and I would not change it for the world...Put your faith in God and everything will be okay...Concentrate on the positive things....

What you're feeling is normal...most of us had those same feelings.  They will pass, then comes the excitement, then the "what the hell did I do", then the "I'm so glad I did this!"

You don't have to sign up for an angel.  If you have come across someone post-op on the boards that you feel you could benefit from. or have established a connection with...just simply ask.


Now....Relax, relate, release!

Congrats on your date AND the trip to Mexico...I agree with Hershey you are going to on an emotional rollercoaster over the next 2 years the first year definitley just know its normal and you'll be ok!

I don't even know what an angel does haven't found out that part of this site yet??? do let me know. I am soooo stocked for you girl!!! Your almost there , it's scary to be successful but the prize you get when your done is most definately worth it! GO TEAM YOU!
