RIP OSCAR GRANT

Sorry you guys, I finally just saw a clear video of the Bart shooting in Oakland.  It was just f*cking horrific.  I mean the boy was handcuffed face down.  I didn't see that he posed a threat to anyone except the ants crawling around on the ground.  Was this racism or police brutality?   I cant' understand why Oscar was the only one in that position. The other boys (mexican-i think) were sitting up and another guy was handcuffed laying, but was able to still sit up.  The shooter (Bart police officer)was advised not to talk and his coworkers were advised the same.  The officer is in jail at this point, of course isolated from everyone else.  I heard that the family won't be able to face him at the trial because they pose a threat to him.  WHAT??Today was not the day for me to see that ****  There is going to be a march today in my old neighborhood.  I hope everyone will be able to exercise some restraint.  I need to go exercise some of this aggression outta me cuz I feel an explosion about to come over me.

Catt you know that is some bullshiot.   They should kick his ass out of the jail and let them people beat the crap out of him.  LOL

But you know what Catt, those people need to stop being stupid and destroying their neighborhoods, if you want to break up some **** go down to the Bart station where it happened.  Tear some **** up there, or like when they jacked up the police car, that's even better than ****ting in your own living room.

I agree with you 150%!!!  It just seems that someone in their right mind would realize that there are cameras posted and everybody and their pet hamster has a picture/video phone, plus it was a holiday and who didnt' take pics!  Also, don't they do a thorough psych evaluation when you go into any type of law inforcement????????  Is it a qualification that an applicant be a "white racist" ******* before an offer of employment is extended by the police dept.'s human resources dept???? Dayuuum!!

Well at least the officer was arrested for murder.... now if there had been some type of cover-up ..... folks were trying to say he confused his taser and gun

I can't believe you are just now seeing that video.  

Everybody kept telling me to watch it, but I just couldn't.  I don't know.  Ignorance is bliss sometimes.  I knew if i saw it I was gonna get really angry.  And, that's exactly what I did this morning and my day has been going down hill since I saw it this morning.

Was the cop a Mexican?   He had dark hair.   I've been wondering why there wasn't much coverage on the news about it.  I'm more interested in what's happening in the USA than Israel/Gaza. 

Black people should encourage more young Black persons (male/female) to go into law enforcement.  I wonder what all the current Black cops are doing to mentor youth in their community or anywhere. 

When was the policeman arrested?  Last I heard the cops were hiding him out because of death threats.  What's his name?

That was one of my reasons for no****ching the video because I thought the guy was Mexican and maybe it was "only" a case of police brutality.  Well, after confirmation today from my sister, and more of my own amatuer investigating I found that the ******* was indeed white.
