DAY 66 P90X PLUS & JILLIAN MICHAELS 30 DAY SHRED

Morning Yall

I did my P90X PLUS intervals, which is a killer workout.  I followed it with the entire video of Jillian's 30 day shred, all 3 sections.  It is a good workout.   It is set up in 3 sections for the  beginner, intermediate, and advavced all in a 30 day time span .  It is suppose to get you to lose between 10 - 20 pounds and I can see how it would if you ate well.   

If I were not a X girl I would only be a Jillian girl,  I totally recommend this workout.  
As I have said many times I don't recommend P90X for people who want to lose weight because it always makes me gain, but it's muscle well and junk.  lol.   

But if your looking for a really good workout video program Jillian Michaels 30 day shred is definatly one.

When the 30 Day Shed was first bought up to me, I was like, "Yeah, right". 

Anyway, I started it a week ago.  I must say, she kicked my royal arse badly.  I supplement the workout with more weight work and punching a heavy bag.  But, yes, I fully endorse that dvd.

Morning LEE,

Thanks for the consumer feedback.  I plan to go go to the gym this afternoon.  I believe that I am starting to build muscle because the scale has moved up a couple of pounds and I have only been eating 20 carbs or less per day.  Now tomorrow, I will be getting my party on and the carb monster will get me then.  I may stick to the treadmill only this week and see what happens.

Oh yeah that's right your doing Atkins.   Building muscle will surely make that dam scale not move but it will make your jeans fit nicely.    That is the one thing I don't like about P90X,  It makes me gain weight and it sucks cause I want to see a low number on the scale and have loose jeans.   LOL

Hey Lee!

You gone wit cha bad self!  I did a 59 minute aerobic video dis morning and I'm planning on doing another 30 minutes later on.  You go girl, you are just awesome!

Hey Lesia, with the 3 sections of Jillian's DVD is there one that is low impact? I have to be careful about how much stress I put on my spine but this sounds like something I could do and build myself back up. What do you think? I know that you've tried lots of videos so have you seen any with no or low impact? Since I don't have the Y pool any more I have to be careful but still exercise.

They really aren't low impact,  you do jumping jack like things, and jump up and down but it could totally be made into low impact very easily.
