Dateline on Obama

Pretty good show I'm flipping between Dateline and HBO...

Hey Ms. Joyce, that concert on HBO, was great. Unfortunately I didn't realize it would be on again and caught it on HBO Latin..lol. The concert part was done in English but had to read lips for the speeches because they had the Spanish interpreters talking over them.

Yep I enjoyed the concert too...Very good singing from all of them and I will watch it again at 11:00..This show on Dateline is going to far back I have a hard time looking at pictures of Black people being hung from trees..and the pictures of the ones that were beaten with whips.. Kind of makes me angry...I'll still watch it and just turn my head from the pictures.. Hopefully I will learn something from this show.. OOps they moved on to something else...It's gone now. lol 

Yep a lot of history being covered today. This is one of those history in the making moments companied with MLK day. We as a people and a country have come a long way, but indeed it hurts seeing what those before us had to endure.

I get a kick out of the R&R board, it is quite entertaining. Since being out of school I've had a lot more time on my hands. I lurk and sometimes post between there, here, and the lap-band board.

It's not so much what they say over in R&R, it's those dayum pictures that crack me up...A tad bit extreme to get their point across...

Joyce do you have TV One? They are doing continuing coverage of the inauguration on Tuesday beginning at 6am. It will kick off with a documentary about Obama. I missed dateline but I am sure that it will air again.

Yep I got Tv One taped today...It was more or less a lot of Black History...I kind of got pissed  at Andrew Young they asked him how he felt about Obama...He said I'm not feeling him like everyone else... Al Sharpton said he's happy for Obama... I'll set my timer to record TV One I've already got 3 tapes about Obama. lol 

Gurrl I have 3 tapes too, I started recording once he beat Senator Clinton. I recorded the DNC off of TV One and will also record the inauguration from there too. I also want to get local so I will have two vcrs going.

On last night mama FINALLY got caught up, I recorded the full election results hoopla for her since she was in the coma on election day. She was so happy watching it and glad that she didn't miss it like she originally thought.

Well I'm happy you recorded that so she could see it.....I think I'm going to have to pick up me some more tapes tomorrow.. I am so enjoying this Obama thing...I caught hell trying to get  my dvd to record...a dear friend gave me her VCR and it works just fine.. Her name is Ang...  Oh I should tell you I have so many Magazines on Obama I don't know what to do.. Go ahead with your 2 VCR going lol..
