One thing about our older sisters...they do say the first thing that comes off the top of their head.......
I am 42. Age is something I have always defied. I only have 2 gray hairs....All the men that I have dated have always been younger than me all along(5-10 years). My husband is like 5 years younger (married 8 years #2)
People ask me when am I gonna slow my roll
? So I figured life is always subjective,at the end of the day,do you!
If you are conservative there are ways to fix it. Look in Essence and they always have new styles to look at and they even give you the prices...they are always classy,sexy looks. At our age ,that whats up.
As far as dancing,I dont know sister, you might want to ask a younger relative or neighbor to give you a few moves for beginners. I am not saying do the"solider boy" but something to stay on beat with the music......

I just bought a black turtleneck sweater and some straight leg jeans. I got a size 14w tall and they are already too big. I guess that I'm graduating out of the big girl's stores and that's scary. Next I'll be posting that people are saying I'm dressing too sexy.
You will be fine....I saw your pics and it looks like you were doing your thing on the floor...you didnt look conservative to me........

Thank you for your vote of confidence. I was trying to stay on beat on the dance floor. I have a 16 and 17 yr old and my daughter the 17 yr old just hides when I try to dance.
She gets a good laugh when I dance at home and try to learn some things, she and my son keep saying, "Momma you're off beat!!" 
That's okay I'm gonna dance anyway. You know how some folks are at church, they always got to say something. At least this week, it wasn't "Don't lose any more weight because you gettin' too small".

Hi neeaj, Shoot I'm 53 and begin to dress with the best of them. It's been years since I've worn 2-piece-suits (29). Since I've been PG with 1st DD how does the young one say it. I can rock a 2 pieces suit right under/are above the knees and close fitting also. I now have things that fit my body that looks my age now it been years that I have been able to dress my age. I even had to revise patterns because of my size thank God he gave me the talent to sew. Like one of the poster saided work what best for you and get comfortable with it and go from there. I went to a consignment show and got a Bob Makcy for 5 dollars it sleeveless.
But it beautiful try those shop. Go for a day of trying on things,
