Brookhaven Obesity Clinic

Now I know we talked about this one day before, but it is on now and it is really ******g me off! What is the purpose of this damn clinic? People have been in there for 4 years and have GAINED 300 pounds! They are allowed to order outside fast food and have it delivered! Why do they have these people here if they don't make them stick to a strict diet and exercise program? I would be angry if I was paying my money to go into a clinic because I have an addiction and the clinic was basically doing nothing about it. That's like me being a crack head in detox and my pusher is still allowed to drop a delivery off to me!!! The director is a damn idiot and he is basically running a damn hospice because all of his "patients" are just there waiting to die. He needs to be shut down because his philosophy is idiotic!!!!  And for some reason, he think a portion of the stomach is REMOVED in RNY. He don't have producers to make him look less ignorant? They talk about the surgery like it's just some crazy vodoo magic. Just had to get that out.

I hate that show! I am so with you about the moronic drector they have. He clearly has no true medical background, is talking out of his ass, and is in it for the big bucks the insurance companies pay him.

The man running that clinic is not a dr. and I agree he is an idiot. He is there to make money period. He doesn't understand wls at all, he even said that our stomachs are the sizes of a grape

How the hell you going to allow peeps to bring in outside food, and then on top of that sh*t they gain like about 300 good ones, but then again its not all the directors fault.....because he don't put a gun to there head and say...EAT UP, them peeps need to have some f*cking will power and do something about it.....just like we DID, meaning surgery or just a good workout !!!

The director believes that he is prolonging lives by allowing food to be brought in.  Note I said prolonging not saving.  When he banned outside food some patients left and ended up dying because they were not monitored at home.  I don't agree with the total ban on food but I certainly believe they should ban it from certain perople.  That 300 pound gain was totally ridiculous.  And the director needs to be educated on WLS and seriously get some psychiatric help for the food addicts.  At least put some kind of system in place where they can earn the outside food by exercising or attending the support groups.
