I'm having fried chicken wings, lightly dusted with flour and seasoned heavy

Making hubby cajun jambalaya:
Chicken breast
Shrimp
red onions
red,yellow, and green peppers
butter
lottsa cajun seasoning
Can of tomatoes
Mixed regular and spinach linguine

(Cheesecake factory copycat) I'll prob eat some of his too w/o the pasta

I cheat with my fry daddy. If I had to do it in a skillet they would prob be under done! The deep fryer makes it so so easy!! I'm starting to lick my fingas right now!!!

I am a pretty good cook but  I can't make gravy either.  last time I tried it was white and lumpy.  Looked kinda like the gravy that one of the daughters on the Tyler Perry movie "This Christmas" made.  It was real jacked up.

I usually buy the can gavy or the packages.  What black person you know uses can gravy   LOL.

Damn, I wish we were able to grill some food today. It is snowing here in PA and there won't be amy grilling going on over here!

So with that said, Im making a low sodium Ham mashed red potatoes and lima beans for the family.

Me im having baked skinless chicken breast some zuchinni & onions. However I sauted my chicken breast in some lowfat buttermilk, then rolled it in no carb bread crumbs. Girl that chicken is the make you wanna slap yo mother-in-law then when i eat off of it for the rest of the week it is still so moist.

I cheated on my dinner today. I went to the local neighborhood produce store and of course they sell everything under the sun, cooked and uncooked. So I bought a cooked rotissierie chicken for $2.99. Can you say OH YEAH!!!! I made corn muffins and veggies yesterday so dinner is served.

I can not for the life of me make good salmon croquettes. I always overflour them and they taste like crap!

Oh and let's talk cravings. Why in the sam hell *LOL* am I gorging myself on potato chips of all kinds? For the past two and  a half weeks I have been eating chips every damn day!!!!!!  Arrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!
 
I can not stop eventhough I know they are so not good for me. I mean I ate a whole bag of nacho cheese doritoes the other day and not the little azz bag either.  The good thing about this is the chips are almost gone and I will not bring another bag in this house. I swear these things go straight to my damn thighs!!!!!!! I'm all swollen looking like the damn michelin man. HATE IT!!!!!! But I suppose that's what my greedy butt gets huh?

*Chanting* No more chips for Bunny!!! No more chips for Bunny!!

*So please tell me why I'm contemplating going to Chipotle tomorrow for chips and guacamole?* 

I'm addicted and it's bad.

I make salmon cakes the lazy way. Can of salmon, sauteed onions and peppers, and an envelope of salmon cake mix. It's usually found in the aisle with all the gravy packets or in the seafood dept with the old bay and crabcake mix packets. Just add mayo and fry......Yummy!

I'm good gurl thanking God everyday!!!! Imma bite off this recipe cause I swear I can't make them things at all!!!! I ain't never heard of salmon cake mix. See you learn something new on here everyday. Thanks chica, uh Starra Jones LOL!!!!
