Ain't it a trip what "we" women will do for a man.   I am glad she is loosing the weight and becoming more healthy. But if she really did do it to please him then I hope when they start having problems she don't put the weight back on.

2006 HE MOVED TO FLORIDA I MOVED TO NORTH CAROLINA - STILL BIG CAUSE I'M LISTENING TO THIS FOOL
2008 I'M HAVING RNY...SOMETHING I SHOULD HAVE DONE LONG TIME AGO

Amen, she has done nothing wrong in promoting the big women.  There are so many examples of the low self-esteem BBW women seem to have right here on BAF.  Read the posts of how impressed some of these women get for the simple gestures that men are making toward them when they are simply something that they should have demanded automatically.

She is smart, she has twin babies and a husband. She was walking around BIG breathing heavy with the effort on stage..a heart attack/stroke waiting to happen.  She has decided to make that change to see her kids grow up.  If she was the average Jan, not one person would care that she decided to get healthy. Trips me out how people gossip and make judgement about celebrities like they know them personally. Heck my WLS is my business...why can't she or anyone else have that same right?

Nothing wrong with promoting big women.   I was one of them that didn't realize I had a problem until I got diabetes, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea.  Ain't nothing wrong with thinking you look good no matter what size you are.    And WLS is private.  Shoot I wished I would have kept my mouth shut with all my family and friends.  I wish I would have only told my Mom and that is it!  Life would have been much easier.

Yea, it's EXACTLY what you think it is! Dumbness! The man and the woman can go on dates and screw other people. Ridiculous. That's not a marriage and it's crazy that there is even a term for it. All that is, is one person probably cheated and the other didn't want to lose them so they agreed to this B.S.! Bless her heart. As a big girl, she is NOT my role model!!

I don't think she's lost enough weight to have had WLS. 25 lbs over the past 2 years is NOT WLS lol

I beleive that ALL women should have high esteem and I get the same commnets made to me "if big women are so beautiful why you have the surgery or want to lose weight?"  YEs  wanted to get healthy but I also know that at 299 lbs I wasn't the best me I could be for myself, my husband or my future kids and because I want to be better doesn't mean I'm turning my back on the fat girl world.

A person should strive for their best and if you're liiving less than your best you're cheating the world and yourself of your full potential.

Well said.  That is why I said I ain't mad at her for trying to get healthy.  I think she looks good.  I thought she looked like she lost more than 25lbs though.  I saw a picture on Mediatakeout.com
