Congrats on the weight loss Garland.

I see you have truly taken the advice given on the restart/jumpstart of you journey.  I would have to agree with one comment and that is you are not actually reporting how much water you are drinking.  I hope you are getting in at least 64 oz but you really need to be closer to 80 oz. a day.  Are you keeping a food journal as well as an exercise journal?  If not, I think you need to incorporate that into your agenda for next month.  Finally, you may want to look into expanding your food selection.  I'm not saying anything is wrong with your selections they seem to be pretty good choices I just think boredom will soon set in at some point.

Again Congrats on the 33 lb. weight loss!

Congrats on your weight loss , But I have to admit what works for most men will not work for lower BMI women, there is NO way I could eat that much and lose 1 pound. But I do agree with the protiens, but when I am losing I have cut back a whole lot more food than what you posted.

Hi Garland congrats on the weight loss and keep up the good work... i wish i could drop weight like that but i dont think it would come off of me like that... however my surgeon did make some suggestions to me because i was slow with my weight loss starting off, so i followed his rules and I dropped  7lbs this week. i guess that's why he gets paid the big bucks!!!....

congrats again

Hi, just curious, can you share the suggestions your surgeon made that helped you drop 7 lbs in a week? Oh, and you keep up the good work too.

Congratulations, Garland...and like the others...I suggest you keep a journal of your food intake and more importantly - get the water in...you seem to be a soda drinker...you may want to give up soda completely (wean yourself slowly)...as it does slow down the weight loss process.

I won't brow beat you on this one...the mere fact that you lost 33 lbs. in a month is admirable...just keep on doing what you're doing - AND I ENCOURAGE YOU TO STAY FOCUSED ON THE GOALS YOU HAVE SET FOR YOURSELF!

Safe travels to D.C.

Way to go Garland...You are keeping your word, and doing the dayum thing.....Now if you could help a Sistah out with this dayum ellipitcal machine...Every thing hurts on my body including my eyes...just kidding.. How much longer do I have to go before the soreness, subsides..I've only lost 7 lbs. in one month... and I haven't been eating nothing like I normally do.. Eating a lot of baked chicken...and drinking 64ozs. of water a day. I can only last on that ellipitcal machine 15 minutes 2 x a day.. My thigh muscles hurt me the worst and my arms.
