Biggest Loser Champ Gains Weight back

He was the winner right? He won the money, right?
Ok, I am sorry that he gain his weight back but my God, he had it easier than most.
1. He have money to get and keep a personal trainer (he more likely could find one to do it for just the publicity alone)
2. He was taught how to lose the weight yet he said once folks start not paying him atttention he got depressed?? Hellooooo, do it for yourself, not for the attention.
3. He had the means to do something (go to a fat farm if he needed) before the extra weight turned to 100 pounds.
I am not trying to be mean but I can see Oprah, using him as he get back on the "wagon" to dog WLS out once more.
I haven't seen the Oprah episode yet; but I don't know what Oprah has against wls. We are battling the bulge no matter how we get it off. As we see she's still battling it 4 years later. And some people don't have the options that Oprah or Eric had. We aren't sitting on bank rolls and can afford personal trainers. So we have to make do with what we have. I agree with you wholeheartedly.

If I give you a can of veggies, a knife and a can opener and ask you to open the can for me. Are you going to use the knife or the can opener? Both will work but why would you use the knife when the can opener will do it faster and smoother?
Oprah need to stop playing and let me tell her about the lapband

Thank you for posting this post, because you pretty much hit the nail on the head...I doubt that I would have waited until I was close to regaining that much weight before I tried to do something about it.. I love the show, I really do...For some reason I have been motivated by the people on the show... It started with the show where they had this Black guy named Pete on there...Blood, Sweat and Tears they should call it.. lol I gained some weight over the holidays and I'm not proud of it.. This go round I have changed my mindset somewhat I can be head/strong when I make up my mind that I want to do something.. So this is where my head is at rt. now...Not allowing anyone or anything stop me from accomplishing my goal which is to be fit and healthy...Not tolerating any excuses from myself that I can't work out today..This time around it's hard as hell on me..PAIN!!!! my muscles hurt like a m/f this time around...but I won't quit and I won't give up...Because I realized I have to make this commitment for the rest of my life to be healthy and fit.. It's not something you can keep falling off of and thinking you haven't did any damage.. I learned a lesson over the holidays big time..Just because I cooked it does not mean I have to eat it...I was thinking the other day why did I have to cook so much food.. This year and the rest of my life I will not cook so much food..I started thinking if it wasn't there I wouldn't have ate it.. This Ellipitcal machine is not a joke.. My body hurts like hell while I'm working out...but I won't give up the soreness can only last so long..
