I posted this because we all fall short.  Whether it's wls or doing it the way he did it.  I am glad to know that he's getting back up on that horse and trying it again!!

I saw the clip from the Oprah show. It's such a shame. It's so hard to lose and even harder to keep it off with just diet and excersise. Sometimes you have messed up your metabolism so bad its hard to do it w/o surgical intervention. He should get cut!

SHANI!!!!

Did you see that he had his panni removed and then said he's not worrying about stretching it again.  I don't get it.  Wasn't that the point of having the panni removed in the first place??

Surgical intervention is not the answer if mentally, you can't get your head right to make the lifestyle change required to maintain it. Its easy to go under the knife but the weight will always come back if you can't learn to curb bad habits.

ooooh nikki i saw that and i felt so bad/sad for him.

does anyone know why so many of them seem not to have skin issues on the finale show?  do you think the show pays for them to have the skin removed b4 the finale because they always look so tight...

I have been wondering the same thing.  Why do they look so tight and firm with muscles after 90 days?  Especially with him being the size that he was.  I was sad but also disappointed.  I watch shows like the biggest loser and diet tribe and come on BAF for support to get my tail in the floor to do a sit up or eat that apple.  But such is life.

I heard (because I was wondering the same thing) that becaus of the way they lose the weight and the vigurous exercise, it's like 6 hour a day, the saggy skin is greatly minized because they are building so much muscle and buring so much fat.

I really wish I had of done more as far as exercise and toning when I was in the honeymoon phase.  It really sucks having this ugly sagging skin.....

that SUCKS!!!!  I read a thing on Biggest Loser contestants before that they do all kinds of 'quick' loss methods (i.e. diruteics (sp)) to lose - but as soon as they eat for real again it comes back.

It's also easy (my opinion) to lose like that when you are sequestered and have a personal trainer - hell - if the ONLY thing fat folk needed to do was work out and exercise consistently and they could do that on their own..... WHY need trainers, WLS or any of that crap!  LOL - I don't think the show(s) do enough to address this part - then FOLLOW up - homedude said after the 'glitz' of the show wore off - he fell off.  Accountability is KEY........

Fighting the fat is so dang hard - what I hate for him is that now his regain is plastered all over everywhere - how jacked up is THAT life?  Heck - I'm hating on my 15lb I got back - at least i get to do it in quiet.......

I agree with you MM.  We all have to be accountable.  Him for this 100 lb gain, you for your 15 and me for my 4.  (Actually it's more than 4 but the 4 lbs were put on recently)
