Just heard that Circuit City will be LIQUIDATING all remaining stores in the US!!!!  I believe there are 567 stores left....

Yipee!  I am happy because now I can get me some stuff I've been holiding out on....

Laverne you are NUTS..  But I have that same problem.  It's AWFUL.  There is ALWAYS something I can use....

Unfortunately, "liquidation" sales are nothing but a big ripoff (sometimes!) You should check out the story ABC News did about Linens & Things so-called liquidation.  I went to a so-called liquidation sale at Circuit City with a friend last month and the liquidation consisted of 15% off stuff...that was it!

I totally forgot about that, I just got so excited about the electronics, I totally forgot that there will be some limitations and/or scams.  You probably won't even get all the warranties that come with it....  Oh well.....  I know I am still going to get something... It's awful..  I want a new surround sound..  I love's me some LOUD MUSIC and TELEVISION.....

Well...I can do you one better...I received an email from QVC offering 4 payments on merchandise over $50.  Hit me on the b/l and I'll send it to you...

I would have to agree with DD.  Liquidation sales are only good when it is like a week or a few days before closing and everything is usually almost gone.  I still go check them out though.

WHY you post this after I JUST found out last night the IRS is allowing IKE deductions on 2008 taxes???!!!!!  I'm about to PUNK my Uncle!!!!! (Sam that is.... LOL)

Don't laugh at me, but are you serious?  They are allowing IKE deductions?  I WANT a Blu Ray DVD Player...

I got punked last year when I purchased the High Definition DVD player from Best Buy and 3 months later they discontinued all HD movies and Players.  I was so mad..  So now I want a blue ray....

DUDE!!!!!  I sooooo checked and they sooooo ARE allowing!!!!!  YOU KNOW I am going to get in on THAT one!!!!!  My insurance company found a way to jack me out of any money for damages - so Uncle Sam might as well be the one to cough up some dough!!!  I need a backyard fence!!!!  LOL
