What up Ya’all….. Hello, my name is Giovanni. I 'm also a Lurker. I live in Phoenix.  I  try to check this forum out daily. I’ ve decided to have the LapBand, and I am going to my information seminar tomorrow to meet the surgeon I think I want to use.  I’m really shy, but I saw this post and decided I’d finally post!! Ya’ll l have me rolling, but have ultimately provided me with your testimonies which has really help me come to my decision about WLS.  Thanks NeenaJ for getting me out of my shell!

Heeey I had the DS with Dr. Schweitzer!! He is an excellent surgeon. Since I've been on the DS board (April last year) I've seen many patients have surgery and noone had any major complications at all and everyone including me is doing fine. Ask me any questions you might have. I could DS talk all day lol. Just a word of advice. If you want the DS, at your consultation make sure you've done your research and you know the reasons why you want this surgery over the others. He wants to make sure all his DS patients are well educated and will be good DSers.

Good luck with your decision and I wish you much success with either surgery.
