yes, I was the one grabbing all of the 32's from eacha nd every store I could find them in all three colors (black, grey, brown). Why they think those the only color we want to wear?

I live out there becuase I went to PVAMU. It was the only area of town I knew beside the 1960 area. I got married my last year at PV and my husband was already living in that area. I had been to the SW area a few times with friends and visited TSU and U of H, but was not too familair with Houston. My side of town has everything I need. Before you ask, originally from Maryland, and before anyone else asks, Fort Washington, MD.

Hi Shanecia.  Have you had your surgery yet?

Hi Apple, no i haven't had my surgery yet.  I started the process last year and then kind of chickened out.  Well now I realized that I'm going to be scared but I have to do what I have to do.  I've gained about more weight since my consultation last Feb, so I really need to do something. 

I hear ya.  It's only a decision you can make.  I'll definitely be praying for you.  It took me ten years to get it together and finally have the surgery.  I think it's wonderful that you've been here getting information...keep us posted.

Hi Shanecia. Surgery is a scarey experience but sometimes you have to weigh the pros and cons. I knew that my quality of life would be better with the surgery, so after I did all of my research I had surgery. I gave it to God and He watched over me.
