Hey Mister,
I had the same issue when I was younger. Please put her on BC. The pain was unbearable. I have never felt pain like that before and I delivered a 10pd baby boy  natural.
I honestly thught I was going to die from the pain when the cyst erupted. I was in the emergency room for hrs and they finally said it's not much they can do, but they did give me strong pain meds because I was in so much pain.
Can you call her PCP to see if they will presribe a stronger pain Medication for her?

I feel so sorry for her.

If she is in that much pain, by all means...take her back to the ER, they have OB/GYN's on call.  I hope babygirl feels better.

EVERY DOCTOR not just OBGYNs have slots for EMERGENCY appts....don't say this is for an annual exam....it's an emergency AND she doesn't need an OBGYN she can just see a GYN....OBGYN specializes in delivering babies and female issues.....GYN just does female issues! ~wink~

Sorry this is happening, BC is the best, it was reccommended for my baby too (she's only 13) ... for the exam you can stand by her shoulder facing her or the doctor without having to see the exam... facing her and talking to her will maybe keep her mind off of the exam itself? Hope she feels better soon, you must be a great Daddy.

the pain comes and goes and it gets greater during her time of the month

Have them perform an external and internal ultrasound too, along with the pap!

They need to see if her uterus is titled, retroverted...if she has endometriosis or PCOS.....

They need to check her blood count with a CBC

YOU NEED TO BE IN THE ROOM b/c she is a minor.....just sit by her head and rub her hair ~smooches~

It is not only the most commonly used, it is the most effective non-surgical treatment!

You will be doing her a BIG asse favor! ~and you too....with the pills you can count the days to her menstual cycle Bwahahahaha~

My prayers with her....I know her pain....

OH, don't let them do that dayum Seosonal or schitt....do straight 28-day oral contraceptives!

Don't let them give her no dayum shot either.....do the BC pills--REALLY

First let me say I'm am truly sorry to hear that she is experiencing this you also. Secondly, I have to confirm what the other ladies have said the bc could definitely help in not only reducing the fibroids but lessen the pain.  Also she will want to change her diet it is believed that certain foods contribute also to the growth of fibroid tumors, Caffeine is number one, explain that she will have to do her part as well like curtailing her intake of caffeine which might be very difficult because most women crave sweets/chocolate around a certain time of the month, No Soda, Coffee, Chocolate if she can help it. and Banna's are known to also reduce cramps she will need potassium. I hope that has help some. As for you're being in the room at age 17 you should be able to have a Nurse in the room along with the doctor if you feel uncomfortable.  Praying that she finds some relief and you too Daddy!
