okay first off congrads on your weight lose its awesome just keep up the good work. I am going to go against the group and maybe look at other ways you can lose more on the scale. First you said you work out about 5 times a week I would do a body comp test it will show you true body fat and a more real to life bmi. I say that because with working out as much as you do of course you have lean muscle but muscle mass is heavier than fat. Another thing 1600-2000 calories that really is alot. Not to be funny or rude we all have different and similar post op diets. Eating 3 meals a day and not snack if you feel hungry drink water that also helps with getting in you fluids for the day. With RYN we should be able to eat 1/2-1 cup of food per meal if you are eating 5 meals thats ALOT of extra calories. Most people I talk to the average has been a year post op 1200-1500 calories a day. A person with a "normal" stomach eats 1600-2000 calories a day ours is 1/8 the size of theirs no need to have the same amount of calories. Just things I would hope you consider, every doc is different some are great surgeons and horrible with the people skills.Others are flipping great all the way around, sounds like he knew what he was talking about but his delivery was not the best. But all in all congrats on the weight lose.
