ms cleo, I don't think that it falls into that catogory at all we are all up here for a common goal, I love to see people's b4 and after pics , however I think when people post pics once a week about how diff. they look then it becomes attention *****ish......JM2C...

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely who others think you are!

yes i agree.....i think some people just require a lil more attention that others. Maybe no attention at home or from the people they love....and for some its just their personality...they need or strive off being the center of attention, whether good or bad. JMO

I agree mscleo, I just about drove my family into leaving home. When I first started my journey and the weight started coming off sooooo fast, I was EXcited! Everyday I was asking how do I look, can you tell I have lost a pound (1 Pound...lol). So, once I noticed how irritating I was to my family, I toned it down. I am not one to post alot.....hardly ever, but I felt really comfortable here posting pics, looking at others progress (before and afters, look at me post). I could compare and in someway get and I idea of what I might look like as my journey advanced.

ETA: My entire family has always been very supportive of me on this journey. However, I just feels good to talk to others that REALLY know how you feel.

When you devote yourself to achieving your goal, you will not be bothered by shallow criticism.

I understand what you are getting at in terms of monthly progress. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with that. People need positive reinforcement at times. However, we have seen people who do and say things that scream "look at me, I need attention"

Now, whether they are "attention *****s" or not, I guess depends on your personal feelings regarding the person or the postings.

Mack I like ur definition...I was told that I was an attention *****which I cannot understand why I think it's stupid I am not posting every 2 min about some dum schitt. Personally I think that if someone says that about u (not u mack personally) I think they are hating on u, why I don't know... but that what it seems like to me...like r u mad casue someone else is getting respones form other VETS. in the game, r u mad that they might like someone other than U? or r u jus tryin to be a cyber bully and found out someone was not going for YOUR Okie DOKE......hmmm..........i wonder...I mean what is it........

Naw - I wouldn't call you an attention ***** - you post a lot - but it's different shiot - and it ain't JUST for the sake of posting, IMO

When mofos post a 5 word sentence with one word in every thread - THAT is TOTALLY attention *****!!! LOL - or when mofos post multiple 'hot button' topics that they KNOW folk will get riled up over....... just shiot like that - i mean - WE know what will get it poppin up in here......
