Attention *****

Ok can someone please help me out. Me and another BAF member was talking about how the word Attention ***** gets thrown around a lot.  Twice yesterday that I saw.  And since I am a newbie I decided to ask on behalf of myself and other newbies. What is an Attention *****  Is this some generic term that people throw around because they can't think of the proper adjective to describe someone?  And is it such a bad thing to be an attention ***** Isn't part of having the surgery focusing on yourself for a change? And if you are focused on yourself doesn't that naturally mean that when you post you are going to post (*gasp*) about yourself? I am just wondering. Somebody please school me on this internet lingo.

D i would say an attention ***** would be someone that tried to bring attention to them selves on someone elses post no matter what type of attention it is just so that they know someone is paying attention to them.  they dont care how negative it and how much of an ass it makes them look like
 
in other words someone that acts like the one little bad kid in the classroom that jumps up at story time just cause eveyrone is paying attention to the teacher and not them..... JM2C
