Thanks for the info Nikki!

One thing they don't tell you on that show is a number of the previous winners have gained all that weight back.  The problem with losing weight like that is  if they lose it on the ranch they never learn how to maintain it and live with it at home.  That's why all those prepackaged meals like nurtisystem don't work.  Once you go back to real food you don't know how to make good choices.

You're right Tsunami,

Oprah had the guy on her show that won Biggest Loser in 2006.  He started the show weighing 407.  He got down to 193.  Now he weighs 315!!!

I stopped watching Biggest Loser when I found out that they exercise 8 hours a day and they don't prepare the people to go back into living life off of the ranch. The majority of people have gained their weight back. I saw that guy on Oprah the other day as well that has gained over half of his weight back. It is not reasonable for anyone to exercise 8 hrs. a day in real life.
