I could have but I tried to take in consideration who I was typing to, so where I tried not to go too rough...I cant sugar coat just for the sake of sugar coating.

I mean come on, I have nothing against anyone drinking what they want to, or eating what the heck they want BUT don't you dare come on here type so that the newbies can read it that you had two surgeries that failed you when you know damn well that you have not done what you should have. And as I told Treena before I frankly don't believe she gave her first surgery a honest chance to work.  do the math..first surgery Dec 06 and second Feb 08, which is like 13 months, she was not even out of the window of opportunity, now it not like she did not lose weight during this time, she lost at one time 103 pounds, so that is by no stretch a failure.

See what you done made me do, let me get off this post, lol

Why would you think I would take offense to anything you say to me? I know you say it out of love and respect for a one's journey.  You have supported me forever.  And yes, I had a drinking problem for about 3 months and that stopped.  Happy to say I have lost weight since.  And I dont eat as much as I desire...believe me when I tell you.  If I did, I wouldnt be able to get into the 16's right now.  I would be back at 306lbs.

Thank you for your input.  I truly appreciate it.

In my opinion Beachbody has THE very best weight loss products around.  Would you like to join me on my P90X Journey? Please click the link below to Join My Team or to learn more about the products:

Hi Sweetie! I don't know if I asked you before, but have you had your Thyroid checked?  I have hypothroidism and even with the surgery because of my disease I struggle to lose.  I'm 16 months out and I have lost only 118 lbs.   I just wanted you to know that I believe you when you say you worked your butt off and followed the rules and yet your a size 16.  I just don't think surgery works as well for everyone.

Trina,
Next month I will be 5 years out and I have not reached goal. I've had some setbacks, kidney cancer, my father's death and yes day to day struggles of just plain old life. I was just recently diagnosed with hypertension and an enlarged thyroid. The thyroid came into play during a routine checkup after my kidney  surgery. I never did get the ultra=sound. Just last week it was done and I am going for a biopsy tomorrow morning. I too was frustrated with my weight loss but knew that I would eat unhealthy jun****asionally. But I also worked out when other didn't. I can only blame myself for blocking my blessing.  Guess what, I joined Weigh****chers last week and weighed in today with a 6 pound loss. My tool still works, I need to continue to work it and I will overcome the thyroid problem.

Hey girly. Just wanted to put a quick buzz in your ear, when I was getting my first surgery of RNY, and the DR cut me opened and seen that he couldnt do it due to the smaller size shaped of my stomach. So the issues was brought up, of how exactly can one gain so much weight if the anatomy of their stomach is so small.  The Dr explaind it to me like this:  some kids,/infants have what they call the failure to thrive ( meaning they dont feel like they are ever hungry, even if they really are,) but what he  belived is   I had the absolute opposite of failure to thrive ( no matter how much I eat, even though I am physically  full I still feel hungry and can eat more. Nothing can really stop this unless getting a strictly restrictive procedure like Lap Band.  In my lap band , I am not an advcate for the band at this point, as it caused other issues. But asking your doctor about opposite of failure to thrive may give an insite.
