COLD FEET
My only regret is not doing it sooner, BUT I have to say, it is NOT for everyone, and it should NOT be taken lightly.
You really need to weigh the pros and cons and ENSURE this is the right step for YOU!

The only thing I had cold feet about was writing that check. Now right after surgery... there were a few weeks I wondered what I had done to myself. But now I'm fine as frog's hair and love that I can't be the glutton I used to be.
I've lost count of the number of weight loss programs that I've done. I lose the weight and maintain a year then gain it all back plus some. For peace your peace of mind I suggest trying it to see if it works for you. I should have stopped all that mess years ago. I got a major reality check when I wrote out my diet history for my doctor.
I had a VSG and love it. I'm able to eat what I ate before *if* I want to... I did not gain my weight from sweets or soda's. I always over indulged on meat and potatoes and etc. I can still eat that meat... I'm just avoiding all the potatoes and bread.
I think if you have cold feet you may want to go back and analyze your eating style and talk with your doctor to see if the surgery is the right option for you. I had gotten to the point with my insulin resistance that I wasn't going to lose any more weight without WLS.
