I would do an arranged marriage.  But it has to be done by someone I trust to make the match.  My mother would have been able to do it because she had a much better eye than I did when it came to men.  I am married and before I got married I did consider hiring a matchmaker.  In the end I met my husband through a personal ad in the newspaper.  That whole thing was weird, I met some of the most gorgeous men I've ever seen or they were butt ugly, there was no in between.

No I couldn't do an arranged marriage!  When I think of arranged marriages I think of Celie and Mister from the Color Purple.   I don't want to be forced to love someone and forced to have sex; that's not cool.

Why the hell not?  We need to drop the notion of romantic love and approach marriage as a contractual agreement.  What are we seeking anyway?  Security? Protection?  Partnership?  Hell, we can get that with a general partnership.
