4 Weeks Out
I am just a few days shy of my 4 weeks and down 20 pounds. It is so important to ask the surgeon the stage they want you on...it seems that it all varies with each and every one of us. I am on a pureed stage, but allowed meat cut in small pieces...I do not go to the soft stage for 2 weeks. After that I am back to regualar meals...whatever that means now!

I am jealous of you all. I went from full liquids- 1st 4 wks, puree- wks 5-8, and then soft at 9 weeks. I am dying over here reading the food lists. I want toast so bad but refuse. I just hit 5 wks Monday I am so tired of soups I don't know what to do. I refuse to puree food because of the thought that it looks like V. So my NUT did tell me to do foods that smash easily. So just wanted you all to know I am jealous as HE- hockey sticks. This is some SHOIT here. Can you tell I am grieving the lost of my friend. WOW!!!! they said that this would be a journey.
I feel the same way sometimes...Never thought I would miss food so much...Not that I need a whole plate of this and that but just a taste...I know that things will get better...I always read the Sunday meal post by MM and get happy to know that people who are post op can enjoy normal everyday meals in moderation...It gives me hope.
