4 Weeks Out
Hey Girl,
When I was at four weeks I had to be very creative. Have you ever looked at the Bariatric Eating website? There are alot of recipes you can change them to your liking! Cruz the grocery store for marinades that you can eat you almost have to replicate the things you used to eat into what we can eat now.
Also make sure you discuss your concerns with your doc. You are not the only WLS patient that feels this way I 'm sure they can give you some helpful tips....
Congrats on all your success so far..

My advice:
When you see your doc tomorrow, ask him for a food list (in stages). If he does not have, your NUT will have it, so he can get it to you. I have learned each surgeon and NUT are different. Follow their plans for short- and long-term success.
My surgeon required that we eat solid (soft) foods before leaving the hospital. My NUT actually sat with me as I ate jello in my room. Then she provided me with a list of foods and when to add them.
It helped tremendously.

Thanks Dedee...They did give me a few pages of what to eat at each stage but I lost it...I read it a few times but nothing on the list looked good to me...lol...The nurse had the surgery and gives me cook ideas and I will be sure to get the information again about the foods.
