Why not eat alone?
Sometimes, I want to be alone with my thoughts. So, yeah, I've gone out to dinner alone. Hell, I traveled to Paris alone.

I didn't have a problem with people watching me scarf down stuff when I was alone and hefty...eff them, I would say. lol.

I feel you on the travel thing - I have traveled numerous places alone - it's nothing for me to road trip several hundred miles with just my thoughts and a CD - and folk are like 'YOU WENT ALONE???!!!!'

I'm like - 'I was BORN alone, gon DIE alone and MIGHT have a mofo in between.... so I'm USED to it'...... LOL!!!!

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions! I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Yes I do eat out alone if I want to. I prefer company but time waits for no one and if I had to wait on other people to do what I wanted to do. Nothing would ever get done. I can't let life past me by because I can't find someone to go to dinner or lunch with.

i'm one of those who could care less what others think about me both being fat and now. with that, i have and still enjoy dining alone. it's kinda like my me time...love it! i also don't mind going to the movies alone. it's peaceful and i ain't gotta answer a lot of questions during the flick.

^5 on that movie time!!!! I now 'hide' some of my off days/times from my boyfriend.... LOL - When I say Imma be off and catch a movie - he wants to come too - but wanna hold my hand, try to sneak up on rubbin on me during the movie and shiot - I just wanna CHILL and watch the flick!!!! So I tell him I have long afternoon management meetings sometimes......

I eat out alone more than with company, always have. Even when I was the biggest thing in a restaurant I would always eat by myself. I never cared who was there and who saw me. I would eat whatever I wanted to and if I had room for dessert I had that too. It was my money....nobody was paying my way., so I really cared less who was looking. Now when I was smaller than I am now, was when I could eat alot. When I got to be my biggest I could not eat a lot always ordered and had to take home the left overs, no different than now. Now I just think about getting dessert knowing damn well I cannot eat it, wont be able to.
I like going out by myself, I generally go some where that I frequent where the people know me and cater to me cause I finally realized ....I do like attention sometimes. It is nice to be catered to.
I also know there are times when I don't want to be alone and beg someone to go with me...starving for adult conversation....only to wish I had left they azzes at home because half the people I know have terrible etiquette or they are not accustom to various kinds of food and they sit and watch me looking at me like I am nasty because I have a sophisticate palette.

Trina, girl, charge it to my head and not my heart, I been running like a chicken wit my head cut off. I had a little issue but I think now it is all good. I got your message and your message....Thanks for getting back to me that meant a lot.. Forgive me for not getting back to you, girl be going through...Lawd.....But I think all is well.
