I need help!!!!!!

I've been having stomach and back pains for a few weeks now.
I think it is a problem with gallstones or my gallbladder because of the type of pain and because I had a CT scan recently (for another problem) that showed some type of mass in my gallbladder. It was only a partial scan since the tech could not find a vein to inject the dye.

I just made an appt with my Dr. for this afternoon, but was wondering if anyone could shed more light on gallbladder problems or gallstones.

This weekend I started having problems with my BMs, that's what prompted me to quit procrastinating and go to the Dr.

Oooh, a gallblader attack is worse than dumping.  I got the shortness of breathe, the excrutiating stomach and back pains, it felt like my ribs were caving in on me, had the most horrible reflux, chest pain, heartburn.

After I had it removed (this was prior to WLS) instant relief!

That's exactly what it feels like.  At first I was thinking....am I having a heart attack or something....Man does this hurt!  Luckily I had some Percocet and was taking that, thinking the pain would go away.....but it still comes and goes.

I hope this is what it is and they just go ahead and remove my gallbladder....NOW!

I suffer from gallbladder problems so I mos def feel your pain. I know it's just a matter of time before mine's is yanked out. Here's what I found on the net:

  • Pain or tenderness under the rib cage on the right side
  • Pain between shoulder blades
  • Stools light or chalky colored
  • Indigestion after eating, especially fatty or greasy foods
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness
  • Bloating
  • Gas
  • Burping or belching
  • Feeling of fullness or food not digesting
  • Diarrhea (or alternating from soft to watery)
  • Constipation
  • Headache over eyes, especially right
  • Bitter fluid comes up after eating
  • Frequent use of laxatives
