Prayers

For my family. My cousin was killed in a fatal car accident on Friday. We just buried his mom in May. I talked with his brother and they are shocked and hurting, but holding up. Yesterday was BAD for me. I am better today; more pissed I think ~and I don't know why~

The guy driving was not hurt, but to my understanding has been arrested. I assume he will be charged with vehicular homicide. Still waiting to hear all the details/facts. But I also know my cousin, he would not want that to happen. He was one of those mild-tempered easy going men. Never complains....I mean, he was told he had 6 months to live....colon cancer....did his chemo....laughed....never complained....and made the doctors out to be a lie....that was almost  8 years ago!!!!!!!  Still, he never complained about NOTHING! He was the shortest person in our family, but he had one of the biggest hearts! His laugh and smile was contagious! He will be missed. Due to the damage, they want a fast burial and the funeral will be Wedneday (that's fast for Black Americans) so I cannot go home. I have informed my uncle and cousins and they understand. I will be sending a card an an angel ornament or something.

Also, MarJean's mom has been ill. Please keep her in your prayers as well.
