Can We Eat Oranges?

I just cut up some honeydew melon, canteloupe, and pineapple and then squuze(not a real word)the juice from 2 oranges over it. Tossed it a couple of few times and it is good to go. I usally make a fruit salad on Sunday and take small bowls of it for snack at work and late nite.

I do that now...that is after many, many, many months of dumping. Like you I love fruit and in the beginning that is what I missed most. Unfornunately, it is trail and error with these pouches. I found that melon worked better in the beginning. Love watermelon

Good luck

If we can't, too bad LOL

Yes, but be careful due to the acids and sugar. I love grapefruit, but can't have them as much now....same with pineapple.....but I kill me some dayum lil cuties (mandarin oranges, tangerines) and naval oranges!

i am a little leery of eating them "regular style" because sometimes its hard to chew all those membranes really well...so what i do is cut them into wedges and basically suck the juice/flavor out of them. its gross, but i get my fresh oranges fix. i have been trying clementines lately..they are a little softer, so i have been just peeling and eating those, but if i get a piece that just wont get  chewed up, i'll still spit it out. dont want that hung up in my stoma.

Ut unh ~that means no~ that ain't gross LOL

That is how we grew up eating naval oranges. Cut those babies in 8ths!  And go to work LOL

The only oranges I peel are tangerines.

Like Doug, I eat a bag a week of those lil babies!

Ok when I get hungry for a snack again, I going to cut them up like sunshyen said and try that. I like the fruit salad idea too. I love mandarin oranges and might try those with some cottage cheese.

Dedee, those clementines or tangerines don't make you dump? Have you ever had a honybell? They are a cross between a grapefruit and clementine I think or is it an orange?
