How Much Should a Work Mate know about you and your spouse
Lee since you know it's going to happen the next time you start to tell something, why not just get started then stop and say to the girl "isn't this where you come in and finish the story". If she doesn't get the point and stop she never will.
The women I worked with knew a great deal about me and vice versa. I am not a private person. However even when upset with each other or in front of others none ever discussed what they knew or spoke out of turn. Some had heard the stories several times but never gave away the punch lines. We told it all like it was a BAF except I was the only B. The four of us were a very tight knit group. Black, red, blonde and tall blonde describe us. Did not set well with me when hubby wanted me to sever the relationship. I did by transferring to another office closer to home, then retired early.
