I am blessed too. 3 days ago was a horrific day for us because my mother and I are cramped in this 1 bedroom apt. and the prospects of a 2 bedroom apt. looked bleak.
I later felt bad because in my frustration, I ended up sharing with my Mother about how unfair it is that I have absolutely NO HELP in just basic things regarding her care. I wont lie, its been kickin my behind. I told her that I felt like a Hebrew slave while my sister and brother are out there living the good life. Mama said to stop worrying and let God handle the situation.
On yesterday out of the BLUE mama and I were blessed with (what I thought was an impossible) opportunity to move into a brand new 2 bedroom condo in a senior citizens community
. Bye bye crackheads
. We qualified for this special program that covers all but a third of the rent and expenses which we will split. This place is beautiful, large and loaded with everything imaginable. It is exactly what we NEED.
Then to top that off, my late God grandmother's neice called on today and offered us the furniture that was JUST purchased a few months ago and was barely used. I was like okay God you can stop now....I get it! Mama looked at me and said "see" . I may still be the Hebrew slave, but I'll be living good in the process(

Erica? I haven't seen her on the boards lately. How is her sister? She hit me up a few days ago and she's doing good. Didn't mention her sister. I did ask about the family. I'm still praying all is well!
