What and why do you come to this board? Let's talk square biz yall.....

Exactly what and why are you here?  Is the board your universal place of acceptance and 'whoosaaa'-edness?  Are you here to learn something to help you?  Are you here to put your REAL shiot out on the table so that there's somewhere in the world you actually DO put it?

and what's your expectations (if any) from this board?  Are you looking for everyone to be happy go lucky and pat you on the back no matter what?  Are you looking for someone to say 'it's alright' no matter WHAT you do or say?

OR - is this the place you come for the REALEST DEALEST shiot and know that ain't nobody gon sling it and bring it like BAF - so when you REALLY wanna know something - ya 'peeps' got you????

If you ain't here for the real - do you get offended by some of the things you read?  If you get offended, is it because you had no warning that you COULD be offended by what was said or because it was simply said????

I am just wondering - don't start no drama behind this post, now!!!!  Since we got a lotta newbies around - I just wanna check the 'temperature' so I can adjust the Mack-thermostat if need be!!!!  LMAOOOO

i used to mainly come to BAF for the support....

then i used to mainly come to be supportive....

but now???  i mainly come for the laughs .....................and bird quizzes............(and just plain be nosey)

So what does 'support' mean to you?

help...assist...comfort...come along side...help keep going...etc, etc...

So do you think the support is not here anymore?  Or is it just that diminished?

ohhhh...i think support is definitely still here MM...and always will be.  however...it doesn't take much more than looking at thread titles to see we're more about other stuff...ie...xes, gossip, xes, bird quizzes, xes, etc, etc...(not that it's necessarily a bad thing)

I feel you - but - do you think that's just the 'evolution' of the journey?  I mean - there are a lot of 'vets' here - after a certain time - the basics are no longer the focus - maybe the 'change' is indicative of our 'change'?

Sometimes I wonder why i come here because the asshole that send me messages on both the backline and on my personal email makes me want to stop posting at time, but then I get a lot of encouragement from everyone else so I refuse to let one or two jerks run me off.

I come here to get and give encouragement and to share my workout torture.    I don't really care if people want to say mean things just have the balls to say it under your dam screen name. 

I post every day about my workouts and I find that it does encourage others and that makes me happy, and seeing some of the posts here makes me laugh , others make me shake my head but I like it here, so I keep coming back.

Umm - Lee - I think you got some anger management and confrontation approach issues to work out right there....LOL - wanna lay on my couch and talk about it?  $30/hr is my counseling fee.....

Naw - I feel you - and it amazes me that in the face of the obesity battle we fight and talk about - mofos STILL hold on to shiot like gay/race and other issues!!!!
