a tooth brush, tooth paste, deoderant and some undies...hygiene stuff; that's it.

Some chapstick or blistek too casue you'll probably be dry (the hospital furnished mine) and maybe some sugar free listerine breath strips cause your breath might get tart lol (mine did anyway lol)

I bought to much and above is all I used out of my bag, and I was there 3 days after RNY.  Go light.

Oh yeah, make sure you bring some sweats or something like that to wear home.  You'll be sore and shouldnt have anything tight around your waist.

I'm so excited for you.....I remember the anticipation when I was 11 days away

A good pillow cause the hospital ones suck....plus it will be useful for the ride home to sheild your sore tummy from bumps in the road...you feel every one of those suckers lol

I took all kinds of stuff (all recommended here), but the only things I needed was a firm pillow for the ride home, a change of underwear, deodorant and chapstick.  The hospital gowns sufficed for me, as did their slipper socks.  They had more than enough toiletries on hand.  Regarding clothes, you can just wear home the ones you wore in.

Are you excited!?!?

Everything recommended was awesome. I think everyone covered everything. Make sure your outfit you wear home has an elastic band, some people gain 'gas weight' in the hospital and your stomach is so bloated and sore, so u definitely dont want to have on a pair of jean,or leggings. Now is a good time to whip out those old pair of gouchos from 2 summers ago! and a loose fitting tshirt. And your stunner shades. IDK about you, but i had to put them on as i was leaving the hospital, i know i looked a mess, didnt want the paparazzi to know about my surgery or see me looking like i just got hit by a mack truck!
